 What is your definition of Yoga?

D: I have come to understand hatha yoga as a system of practices using the body and the breath to go beyond the body and work with the mind. While practicing hatha yoga we get to transcend our feeling of duality/separation and experience non-duality, we get to experience ourselves as part of the totality, part of the cosmic throb.

Hatha Yoga is also a method of self-inquiry, a journey to the self. HY gives us the tools to become more equanimous and to access the parasympathetic nervous system which benefits us on all levels—emotional, physical, psychological, mental and also improves our immunity.
